Who it helps

Six reasons people book alone

A group class teaches the room. A private session teaches you — which is why it is often the fastest way to make the group classes make sense.

  • You are starting from nothing

Learn the foundations — how to stand, how to breathe, how to come out of a posture — without wondering what the person on the next mat thinks.

  • Your body has a story

A disc, a knee, a frozen shoulder, a pregnancy, a long illness. One-to-one is where the practice is rebuilt around what is actually there.

  • You want a practice to take home

Leave with a sequence written for your mornings, your space and your time — twenty minutes you will keep, not ninety you will not.

  • You want to go deeper

Pranayama retentions, bandhas, mudra, meditation technique — the subtle work that is hard to teach in a room of twelve.

  • You are preparing to train

Arrive at a teacher training ready: inversions prepared safely, the classical sequence familiar, the Sanskrit no longer foreign.

  • You live far from Kerala

Continue with the same teacher over video after you fly home, so the practice you started here does not stop at the airport.

How it works

From message to mat

  1. 01

    Tell us what you need

A short message: what you want to work on, anything about your health, and roughly when you are free.

  2. 02

    A time is agreed

We suggest a slot around the daily classes — often late morning or early afternoon — or an online time that suits your time zone.

  3. 03

    The first session listens

It begins with questions and observation. The practice that follows is built from what the teacher sees, not from a template.

  4. 04

    You leave with something

Notes, a sequence, or a single practice to repeat — whatever will be useful when the teacher is not in the room.

Private session questions

Something not covered here? Ask on WhatsApp — someone who teaches the class will answer, usually within the day.

How much is a private yoga session?

₹1,500 for a one-to-one session. From November 2026 it becomes ₹2,000. If you would like to share a session with a partner or a friend, ask us and we will tell you what works.

What can a private session be used for?

Learning the foundations without an audience; working around an injury, a stiff back or limited mobility; building a short home practice you will actually keep; going deeper into pranayama, mudra or meditation; or preparing your body before a teacher training.

Can private sessions happen online?

Yes. One-to-one sessions run over video for students outside Kochi, and they work well for home-practice coaching because the teacher can see your room, your mat and what you have to work with.

Where do private sessions take place?

At the shala in Chirattapalam, Fort Kochi. If you are staying nearby and have a quiet space, ask on WhatsApp whether the session can come to you.

An hour that is entirely yours.

Tell us what you want to work on and when you are free. We will suggest a time and reply personally.
